June 13, 2016 - Leipzig


Today we are going to Bachfest so that's exciting. I'm not sure what exactly is going on but it's all good because Bach. So yeah I can't wait to show you all of this stuff! 



Well the week was pretty good. It was wild. German is coming. Super slow but it is coming. Most of the time I just smile and say 'ja' and pretend. I've learned a ton. It is super good. 

Yesterday we had a visit with a family and on the way home we got on the bahn to go home but we got on the wrong Richtung [direction] so we went to the very end haltestelle in Schkeuditz [10 miles northwest of town] and it was like this crazy ghost town. It was weird. Ya know that episode of spongebob where he goes to glove world and misses the bus and is abandoned and it was all spooky haha that's how it was. It was so funny. Plus it was rainy so we were soaked. It was great. 


We're working on getting Rene home teachers and stuff. Things are good. We called Pablo and ran into him on the street and made an appointment with him. He's super cool. We have been good here. It's super hot and not real stormy at all. Last night it rained a bit while we were stuck at the end haltestelle [stop] because we took the wrong bahn [train].
 

I didn't have time to write a full email but I pinky swear I will next week! It will be a good one because I'm like a month behind! sorry!

June 19, 2017 - Hannover

Oh mannnnn This is crazy!  I have gotten a trillion emails from the mission about finishing and I'm like NOPE haha naja [oh well] its okay.  It'll be cool. Hannover is getting better.  It's going well here.  Still slow which sucks sometimes but it's picking up.   We had two investigators at church yesterday and it was really cool.  One just kinda showed up and wanted to check it out.  So we sat with her and helped explain everything, and she stayed for all three hours and loved it.  Sister Koch said she was just freuing herself [rejoicing] during my talk in sacrament meeting. (I'm so bad at giving talks in church it is terrifying.)  Anyway, she was really excited during Sunday  school and relief society too.  She even stayed for the Elder's investigator's baptism and loved it.  She's coming next week too.  And the other investigator was a lady we have been trying to contact forever.  And she is friends with a m...

June 26, 2017 - Hannover-Whitewashing & Hildesheim Castle

Hey friends!   So I don't have a ton of time today, so it's gonna be short, and it's been a while but it's been really wonderful here in Hannover!  We have been working hard and it's getting there.  White washing is rough sometimes, and it gets discouraging when you don't have anyone to teach, but I have really learned here that the Lord watches out for you and blesses you in ways sometimes you don't recognize until later.   We have had a lot of cool experiences and a lot of fun as well.  Since I don't have a lot of time, I just want to let you all know how much the Lord cares for you and is there for you even when you may not notice until later.  But He is there! May 29, 2017 - Köthen - 👻👻👻

So this week was pretty busy, mostly with the normal stuff, also consisting of Zone Pday in Leipzig, getting insanely sunburnt, the normal appointments each week, biking 17 Kilometers on Christi Himmelfahrt  [Ascension day], because of an appointment and the train not opening when we needed it to and getting taken to the next dorf, and MLC (Mission Leader Conference) in Berlin.  We had a great time this week, and I don't have much time to write, but I do have pictures.  FYI We also received our transfer calls, and I will be going to Hannover with Sister Koch! I'm pretty excited! I'm honestly heartbroken to leave Köthen and getting transferred so often is actually really hard, but I'm excited anyway! Well I have you all love!
